Let's Talk About Racism

Racism impacts everyone. Nor is it a problem we can ignore. We must confront the history of racism in America before racism can truly dissolve from our society.

We have decided to begin a Racism Support Group because we have heard too many stories about the impact of racism on the African-American community.

A support group is needed to help with the emotional distress and discomfort that comes from being told over and over that African-Americans do not belong in this country.

"One of my colleagues made inappropriate, racist jokes with his friends. He liked making such kind of jokes and eventually he would make racist memes and circulate them on social media. This experience was surreal and I always asked questions as to why someone was hell bent to make others feel inferior about their skin color and what his motivation was. It was a bad experience." --Michael
